Banned terms, words

From the videos from the IFoA portal, jargon was described as "terms actuaries understand but the audience would find totally confusing". It seems to me that's a rather different definition from what actually gets marked.

Was just browsing the student consultative forum notes of meetings. For the meeting 5th June 2015, section 9, it states the following:
"SCF suggested that there is concern about using jargon in the exam and would like clear examples stated on past papers. Could a list of the most common jargon used be published on the website?".

The document says Action - Robert Jelly. He's the IFoA Head of Learning and Assessment.

17 months later and it doesn't look like that has been actioned. Well done SCF for making that reasonable request.

Furthermore, going right back to November 2014's meeting:

"SCF raised concerns around the marking of the presentation part of the CA3 exam and it was felt that it was
unclear to students what was being required of them. The concerns were around feedback that students who had
passed were unable to clarify what they did to pass and it felt like a lottery. SCF asked if it was possible for the
IFoA to produce examples of good and bad presentations along with corresponding marking schedules. RJ said
that he would look into this
."

Does anyone know what he's done on this in the last 2 years? I don't see anything on the IFoA website on this.
