Not really. The technical subjects such as ST7 tend not to ask questions that require you to brainstorm ideas; they're more about testing techniques and (sometimes) bookwork. You're more likely to need to know lists of the fundamental concepts, like the conditions for a risk to be insurable, or the reasons for taking out reinsurance.
